Islamic/Arabic

Alhamdulillah

Allah Ho Akbar

1. There is no power or might save in Allah. 2. Peace is power. 3. God alone is powerful. 4. God is the greatest.

Allah Huma Salle Allah, Miftahi Darussalami

Allah is the opener of all paths to peace.

Antal Hadi, Antal Haqq

Thou art the Guide, Thou art the Truth.

As-Salaam Aleikum Waleikum As Salaam

Peace be with you; and with you be peace. Islamic greeting.

Bismillah Er-Rahman Er-Rahim

We begin in the name of Allah, who is Mercy and Compassion. The beginning of every surah in the Koran except one.

Estaferallah

1. Allah make pure. 2. We take refuge in the purifying presence of Allah.

Hu

He. The non-manifest. The sound that Sufis use to refer to the Absolute. Hu-man = man created in God' s image.

Ishq Allah Mahbud Lillah

1. God is Love, Lover, and Beloved. 2. God is all aspects of Love.

La Illaha Illa 'Llah Hu

1. There is no God but God. 2. None exists save He. 3. There is no reality except Allah. Considered the most sacred phrase in lslam.

Mohammed Ar-Rassoil Lillah

Mohammed is the Prophet or Messenger of God.

Subhan Allah

All praise to God in His purity.

Ya Shafee, Ya Khafee

O Healer, O Remedy

Zikr/Dzikr

1. Remembrance. 2. The remembrance of perfection; the perfection of remembrance. 3. The practice of repeating aloud some form of the phrase: La Illaha ' llah Hu.

Hail to the holy Ganges and Jumna Rivers and hail to the sacred Mount Kailash, the earthly abode of Lord Shiva.
