Visioning
Circle
- Every 4th Thursday at The Garden - 7:30 - 9:00pm. Facilitated
by Laura Bathrick. Refreshments
will be served.
We
are in a time of great change and growth within the HeartStream
Sufi Community and we relish and embrace the input of all
of those who care to be a part of its nurturance and parenting.
Our core intent is to cultivate a sense of community and unity
where every voice is heard. Our shared vision arises out of
Adab (each person being valued and respected),in so being,
we cultivate a sense of value for self and other through the
experience of a shared heart.
We
believe that what people identify with they strengthen, energize,
and grow. HeartStream is a container for the three streams
of Inayat Khan's teachings and we gather to discover and attune
to that unified voice. There are many questions we can explore
as we vision; What does it look like in a social context?
For example - Are there infrastructures in place to assist
our community members in times of need? Are we cultivating
sympathetic joy (the ability to delight in someone else's
pleasure) so that our life cycle celebrations become expressions
of communal awe? Are the children embraced? Are the elders
cared for thoughtfully? These are a few of the questions that
come to mind.
Gather
with us at The Garden at 7:30 to 9:00pm on the 4th Thursdays
of each month as the HeartStream Sufi Community
visions. Bring your hopes and dreams. All are welcome
to participate in the process. Laura Bathrick will be leading
the circle. Refreshments will be served.
For
those unable to attend, a summary of each circle will be shared
in the upcoming newsletter.
